With over 30 years of experience in the development, engineering and construction of major capital projects, Mark Meyer is Vice President of Engineering and Transmission Services for Hunt Power, L.P.
He is responsible for all aspects of engineering, design and construction, including technical, engineering and operational direction and regulatory support, supporting Hunt's electric transmission project development outside of the ERCOT portion of Texas.
Meyer was previously Vice President of Engineering for Sharyland Utilities, L.P. where he led the teams responsible for the engineering, design and construction of Sharyland's electric transmission facilities within ERCOT, as well as the engineering and design of Sharyland's former electric distribution facilities.
Prior to joining Hunt, he was a consultant through his own company, Meyer Facilities Consulting. His career also includes various project, engineering and construction management roles with EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. of Norwalk, CT and Johnson Controls, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI.
His professional associations include the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Conseil International des Grands Réseaux Electriques (CIGRE), Project Management Institute (PMI), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
Meyer earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from University of Southern Indiana.
